New plant for medical devices

In 2014, Indus was responsible for the project and construction management of this turnkey project for Vygon, a leading company in the development of high medical technology.
The new plant, 5,200m2, is made up of a production area, a general warehouse, a reception building and a lorry loading area, as well as a technical services building and an administrative building.
The complex is complemented by urbanised exterior spaces that include a 150-space car park, a lorry manoeuvring zone, and a garden.
The general warehouse has two differentiated areas, one specifically designed for storing pallets on shelves and a picking area, and another for the offices for the reception and dispatch of goods.
The changing rooms are made up on six independent sections, of which five are intended for the staff, and one is for the exclusive use of external visitors.
From the staff entry hall, you can access a canteen and rest area through a corridor. There are staff toilets here. From the abovementioned hall, you can also access the administrative area where the offices are located, along with the training classroom, the filing room, the computer room and the toilets for those that work in this area.
With an independent access, there is a building that concentrates all of the factory’s technical services (electrical services, main switchboard, transformer station and compressed air). Also located in this area is a maintenance workshop that you can access from both the factory and the outside.
Furthermore, within the production area, a technical mezzanine has been built where the air treatment equipment is located.
The project has been a success, the results of teamwork and the good coordination of all phases of the project.
